Blog #1

The first art piece that I found interesting was the picture of the painting. The painting shows 2 boys laying down on the floor holding hands. I can say that to me this means that they rely on each other for strength. This piece is interesting because it can mean many things such as, it can mean their siblings just reading a book, it can mean their trying to educate themselves, etc.

Blog #2

We both found interesting Charles E. Burchfield's art studio. This studio had the feeling of realistic, like when viewing it you can almost get trapped into it and believe that you really are standing in his studio. I liked seeing the organized mess that it was, because it just means that hard work was getting done at the studio.

Questions

2. When looking at Project #1: (Elements and Principles), did you agree with the element or principle the artist listed with the images? Did you see other elements and principles in the images?
Yes I did agree with their elements and principles, her blog was very direct and she chose fairly simple things to take pictures of.
3. When looking at Project #2: Where there any images in the Peer Blogs the same as your own? If so, what were they? Where the reasons the image was selected the same or different as your own?
Yes, niesha and I had the same picture of Charles E. Burchfield's art studio. Her image was also at the same angle as mine so there are a lot of similarities in the photos.

4. Were there any images that your Peers selected that pique your interest now? If so, what are they and what is your connection with them? What would you want to know about them?
The first painting that Nelle posted I found very interesting. I believe that the image is maybe showing two siblings, I have siblings and were very close. So close, that we've probably laid on the floor holding hands doing something similar to the painting.
5. What do you think about  the process of reading your peers' reflection? Do you find this to be valuable in your learning?
Yes I do find it valuable. It's very motivating when you peers comment on positive things on your blog and tell you how good of a job you're doing.

6. Check your Blog and read comments posted by your Peers. Do you find their comments helpful?
Yes, the comments on my blog motivated me to continue doing the best I can in this class.
